Terms & Conditions of Skip Hire
• Please note that we do not deliver or collect skips on Sundays or Bank Holidays. If your collection date falls on a Sunday or Bank Holiday, we will collect your skip on the next working day
• Whilst we will endeavour to meet your requested delivery slot of morning or afternoon, delivery times cannot be guaranteed.
• The hire period is for up to 7 days. Additional charges may apply where extensions are sought.
• Please refer to list of accepted/not accepted waste types. This forms an integral part of your hire agreement. Failure to adhere could result in the non-collection of a skip or the incurring of penalty charges.
• It is the responsibility of the customer of provide permits where needed. A permit is required if a skip is to be dropped on double yellow lines, a pre-paid parking area, loading bay or other restricted area. A permit can be obtained from the appropriate local authority
• Overloaded skips will not be collected. Skips can be loaded to a maximum of one foot above the level of the skip. Where this is exceeded, the additional waste must be removed prior to collection.
• The 4cy skip is constructed of a light metal and is only suitable for light waste such as wood, metal, cardboard, plastics etc. Should heavy material be disposed of in a 4cy, it will result in the non-collection of the skip. The offending material will need to be unloaded prior to the skip’s removal.
• The skip remains the property of Arklow Waste Disposal Limited T/A AWD Recycling. Any damage to a skip whilst on hire will be the responsibility of the hirer.
• We may send you an email in the future offering further services of interest. We will provide you with instructions on how to opt-out of further emails at this time.
